Barcodes can be printed on work tickets for fast, accurate scanning of completed items to track work completion, quality control and shipping. Inexpensive barcode readers/scanners can be placed between the keyboard and station to provide for screen displays, messages and confirmations.
Technician Productivity can be added, with piece rates or other valuation methods, tracking who completed the work with date and time stamps, calculation of units completed, value.
Working with a Twain scanner, WIA-compatible scanner, or a USB webcam, prescriptions and other case documents can be scanned and automatically associated with a case or customer. This provides for fast, accurate lookups when questions or querires arise. It provides cost savings for the labor and space involved in storing, filling and re-filling of paper prescriptions and other documents.
Graphic images sent by the doctor via email or other transmissions can be searched, renamed and associated with the case or customer in the same manner as those scanned in the lab. A document center provides for storing formats other than the standard JPEG format.

Working via the internet with your email provider, reports can be sent via email to doctors to show open/in lab cases that have been received as well as recent cases that have been completed and shipped. Types of notifications and sending intervals are determined by the lab.
This capability can provide an extra service to your customers, with time savings at both the dental office and the lab to reduce telephone interruptions and telephone tag. It uses the same basic setups as QuickBooks, which provides for sending invoices and statements via email to customers, as well as a capability for customers to see their lab invoices and payments online.

The reports can include shipment tracking information, actions required, marketing and other messages from you to the dental office.
Setup and Assign Schedules
You setup the schedules to send notification reports on the cases in the lab and those recently shipped, then assign a schedule to each customer.
For Your Lab
You setup the schedules and choose the reports to send to designated email addresses on the work in progress, the cases shipped, and the cases on hold. Custom reports can be added to your selections.
You can access the reports on your smart phone, tablet or computer.
