The goal of all the DentaLab systems has been to provide software that is easy to learn and use, that offers a wide array of program choices and selections so that each lab can decide its own level of simplicity or sophistication...from simple billing to in-depth doctor's preferences, bar code case tracking and technician productivity.
Unique in this industry has been the strong user group program surrounding this system which brings together innovative ideas from labs of all sizes ranging the tiny startups to the largest most prestigious labs. Support services include training, telephone support, on-site visits, customizing, integration with other software packages, workshops, newsletters, disaster recovery, and a continuous dialog with our users through written, email, telephone, in-person, and internet communications.
When Intuit decided to open possibilities for software developers to synchronize other applications with its #1 selling line of QuickBooks products, Mainstreet Systems was invited to come to Mountain View in California to explore adding dental laboratory case management to QuickBooks. The invitation was accepted, the fit seemed perfect and work was begun in 2004 to create DentaLab for QuickBooks. Introduced in early 2005 to an enthusiastic number of labs, it quickly became the premier product in this industry.
Initially thought to be primarily for small to medium labs, the introduction by Intuit of its Enterprise versions for larger companies and larger volumes of data extended its reach to the largest of labs.
DentaLab for QuickBooks now synchronizes with all of the English-language versions of QuickBooks, including versions for the USA, United Kingdom, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada and Australia.
